When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, company name, email address, telephone number (if provided) and the details of the proposal you describe to us. 3. Why we use it, and the legal basis
  • To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we can lend — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating a lending business.
  • To carry out customer due diligence, credit assessment and anti-money-laundering checks if a transaction proceeds — on the basis of our legal obligations.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website — on the basis of our legitimate interests.
4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary: with our professional advisers (solicitors, valuers, accountants) in connection with a proposed transaction; with service providers who host our website and email; with credit reference and identity verification agencies where a transaction proceeds; and with regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not lead to a transaction is kept for [24 months] and then deleted. Data relating to a completed loan is kept for the life of the facility and for [six years] afterwards to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
